THE ORCHARD OF HUMANS BECAME A CONCRETE JUNGLE

This year, the day has been dubbed'One Land'.

These ten years have been described by the United Nations Environment Program as a decade of ecosystem restoration.

According to environmentalists, Karachi must be stopped from becoming a concrete jungle.

Disposal of waste, plastics and chemical waste and reduction of carbon dioxide must be considered.

We also have a responsibility to protect the natural resources on the planet we live on.

That is why this year's World Environment Day has been dubbed 'Only One Earth'.

Environmentalists say natural resources are being used indiscriminately but the future is not in sight.

The director of the National Institute of Maritime Affairs has warned that if carbon dioxide is not halved, the rate of global warming could rise by 2.7 degrees Celsius.

By 20 to 30, if we do not halve the emissions of carbon dioxide into the air, global warming by the end of this century could reach 2.7 degrees Celsius.

A concrete jungle is being built in Karachi but trees are not being planted.

The people also have a role to play in protecting the environment from pollution.

World Environment Day has a focus that It has been dubbed the 'Only One Earth' worldwide.

There is a land, there is an ocean and its climate is interconnected. It is essential for human survival to be with nature.

Don't waste it by misusing it.

Experts believe that immediate measures to dispose of garbage, disposal of plastics and chemical waste and protect the environment from toxic gases can guarantee a better future.
